About Springfield Township
Springfield Township was founded in 1803. We are located in the northwestern corner of Erie County, Pennsylvania. Spanning over 34.73 square miles, the township boasts a network of 97.57 miles of roads, with 67 of them being township roads, which we maintain. The remainder are state roads. According to the 2020 census, Springfield Township is home to a population of 3,076 residents.
